How to reach the Island and the Metzeler Village

The Isle of Man is located between England and Ireland and has hosted the Tourist Trophy since 1907. Makes it easy to reach and there are many solutions. The campsite is located at the National Sports Center in the town of Douglas, near the paddock and the start line of all IOM TT 2017 competitions.

By ferry

There is only one operator that offers the crossing: the Steam Packet Company sails from Liverpool and Heysam in North West England, Dublin and Larne from Ireland and Belfast from Northern Ireland. The company offers solutions for quicker crossings by the hydrofoil Mannan or by the traditional ferry Ben My Chree. The latter is the only solution for transporting your bike or car. We suggest you book your trip as soon as possible. The tickets during the TT period sell out quickly.

By airplane

There are several companies that offer flights to the island. Wherever you come from, you’ll have to go through the airports in England or Ireland to reach then Ronaldsway Airport in the Isle of Man. The airport it’s 20 minutes from Douglas by cab and a little more by bus. The cabs are located just outside the airport, buses leave from the Bus Station next to the terminal and reach all the towns of the island. We suggest you book your trip as soon as possible. The tickets during the TT are extremely popular.
